Hello
I normally take Nurofen+ when I have had bad tooth ache in the past which takes the edge off( ibuprofen are anti inflammatory which are good with tooth ache). I have also tried elevating my head at night when sleeping by using 2 pillows as tooth ache can be worse at night due to laying down and blood goes to your head. Clove Oil is very good for tooth ache and my hubby used this when he had a bad tooth and it was the weekend. Another one worth trying is sliced cucumber laid on the tooth, teeth that is hurting. Use chilled cucumber from the fridge. Peppermint tea and leaves are also great for dulling tooth ache pain. Another 1 is a clove of garlic with rock salt. Very effective. Chewing a clove of garlic will also keep your mouth clean and healthy. Eat soft easy to chew foods and avoid acidic and spicy and sweet things and cold things that may make the teeth worse. Milk and yogurt and mashed spuds are tooth kind and easy to eat.

Hope that helps and the pain goes soon.

myself from tooth aches in the past

Hi, Clove Oil really is the best thing for tooth pain, painkillers don't help, nor does salt mouthwash.

I can only advise swilling with mouthwash, or soluble aspirin etc, but get the Clove Oil asap, it's the ONLY thing that worked for me, I had terrible toothache for weeks as was scared to go to Dentist as my teeth were in terrible state.

There are toothpastes for sensitive teeth i.e. Sensodyne for example, also, next time you see your dentist ask for a small packet of the fluoride used for kid's treatments and use a cotton swab to apply to your teeth 1x a day .

you can try phoning your dentist to see if they have an emergency number to call emergency dentist?

Or phone first thing in the morning and say its an emergency

try changing ur tooth paste! u can get one now which clams pain in teeth and exposed nerves which myself and my boy have its a god send for us, colgate sensitive

soak in whiskey ! it does work but its hard medicine!
