Question: What is it called when an orthadontist take out some of your gums to improve your smile?
And what is the estimated cost?
Answers:
Its called a gingivectomy, and cost is SO variable depending on the dentist, location, amount of tissue removed (ie. is it your gums around just one tooth, multiple teeth, your whole mouth?), etc...small surgeries are probably around a couple hundred, whereas full mouth surgeries can probably be a couple thousand. It really depends what you're having done.
