Question: When to floss....Before OR after flossing? I'm confused!?

Hello
I always floss before brushing as it removes food and plaque from in between my teeth so when I then brush the tooth paste can get into the gaps in between my teeth. If I brushed and then flossed, the food that is stuck in my teeth and the plaque would stop the tooth paste going in between my teeth, hence why I always floss first. You can slow down tooth decay by cutting out sugar. Sugar turns into plaque which then rots your teeth. If you stop eating sugar the decay will slow right down. I use a mouth wash that can prevent tooth decay by 40%. It hardens your tooth enamel and helps teeth repair themselves. Colgate Fluorigard mouth wash. I use it last thing at night after flossing and brushing. Also eating a tooth kind diet will help loads with decay. Things such as milk and fresh veggies and fish and yogurt and meat and fruits are great for your teeth. Avoid acidic things that weaken your teeth such as fizzy drinks and oranges and fruit juices. They soften your enamel and then decay can break through easier. So cut out sugar and acidic things and drink plenty of water and eat tooth kind things and your decay will slow right down. And do not over brush as that can damage your teeth and gums( use a soft headed tooth brush for 2-3 minutes each time 2 times a day)
Hope that makes sense and good luck

my best guess is to floss before brushing. Think of it like this, if you have something between your teeth, and you brush, it isnt going to get that spot if there is a particle in the way. But if you floss and get the object away, the brush can get in between better and same as the toothpaste to clean away the bacteria. But that's just me.
my best guess is to floss before brushing.
