Can I smoke 5 days after I had 1 wisdom tooth pulled?!

Question: Can I smoke 5 days after I had 1 wisdom tooth pulled?
It's been 5 days since I had 1 wisdom tooth pulled under local. The hole is nearly closed, I never had a problem with swelling or pain after wards...just a slightly sore jaw when eating. I've been good at not smoking since the procedure but could really use one. Just wondering if its safe to have one if I rinse my mouth with warm salt water when I'm done? I don't want a lecture on how I've gone this far & should think about quitting, just asking if its ok yet to have one. Thank you in advance! :)

Wait for it to fully close, If you do not wait you can develop dry socket and that will cause you a lot of pain. Since you're healing fast, give it a couple more days :)

Yeah, and when it comes to the rest of 'em, give it a day or so. The big thing is drawing on a cigarette creates a vacuum and may cause the socket to unplug and start bleeding again. The other is that smoking will dry the mouth, and that can create a site for infection. Just remember to keep your mouth moist, and go easy.

Sorry, it's never safe to smoke. Let your body heal, smoking will make the healing take longer. Your mouth might hurt like crazy if you smoke now. Like they tell you not to use a straw, same sucking action with a cigarette. Dry socket-- ouch!

you could of had one the same day as the procedure

it wouldnt hurt you anymore then the cancer that it is already causing inside you

go puff away..and enjoy that cancer stick.... yummm

i would highly recamend NOT to!
