Question: Gingivitis Question.. Please help?

Answers:

I got this while I was pregnant. I had to go to the dentist every 6 months for a while to make sure it was under control. Regular brushing and flossing is the key. Make sure to "stimulate" your gums. When brushing rub the bristles over the gums. There are good mouth washes out there just make sure that they say they will help treat/prevent gingivitis and try an alcohol free one if you plan on using it alot.
Ex. My mouthwash was fluoride based, it's main function was to strengthen teeth, it did not kill germs at all!
Ex. My grandpa's doctor told him that his mouth/throat cancer could be related to using alcohol based mouth wash twice a day.
Salt water does reduce the growth of bacteria in the mouth. It won't hurt.
