Do you bleed when getting braces off?!

Question: Do you bleed when getting braces off?
I get my braces off today. Any advice for me? Do you bleed a lot (my gums are pretty swollen so i expect to bleed lol) I know braces off doesn't hurt but the glue is most annoying really and my orthodontist hurts me every time so most likely he'll stab me with the grinder but just give me some information on what kinda pain it is and if i bleed? THANKS :)

Answers:

No barely any bleeding. Take some advil before your go. It does hurt when they take them off and they did pull one of my baby teeth out.

I got my braces off Thursday. Honestly, I wouldn't know if there was blood because it was a long process and there was a lot of water shooting and tube sucking.

Pulling off a few of the brackets kind of hurt because they were stubborn.

The worse part though is when they are buffering the glue off and my teeth are sensitive so it really hurt, it was like drilling and biting into ice, if that makes any sense. But it would be a long moment of it on each tooth.

But its really no big deal, but definitely the only/most painful part of the whole braces process.

I don't think you bleed anymore than if you have swollen gums and floss. Be glad you are getting them off so you won't have to go anymore.
