Tooth Extraction: Whats up with my blood clot?!

Question: Tooth Extraction: Whats up with my blood clot?
I had a bottom molar extracted yesterday exactly 24-26 hours ago(about 1pm Saturday). Last night I noticed my blood clot coming in nicely, big & dark. But when I woke up today at noon there was no dark spot where my clot was! Theres some white stuff around the stitches and I read that blood clots can turn white but Im still worried about dry socket. Also Im not experiencing any pain and it doesnt look like theres a hole there (probably cuz the stitches are still in). What should I do, is it possible I just cant see the clot cuz the stitches are in the way? I havent smoked since the extraction and have only been eating ice cream and drinking water so Ive been pretty safe about it...

Answers:

Don't worry, the blood clot is still there, it's just white like you said. I had my wisdom teeth extracted two weeks ago and this happened to me as well. If you're not in pain, you shouldn't be concerned. :)
