Is it possible to have a false tooth fitted after the original tooth has been re!

Question: Is it possible to have a false tooth fitted after the original tooth has been removed?
Ive just had a tooth removed this afternoon as it was rotten and have now realised you can see the gap when i smile which is disturbing me a bit.. I didnt think about it at the time as I was terrified enough in the first place.
Is it possible to have a false tooth fitted after the socket wound has healed up or should that have been done straight after the extraction?
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated
cheers

Answers:

You can get an implant put in there as long as you have enough bone and there was no bone loss from your bad tooth.

Yes, there are many options, you can try a veener, a bridge, an implant. Just talk to your general dentist to find out which would be best. Good luck (:
