what is the best painkiller for a pulled tooth?!

Question: What is the best painkiller for a pulled tooth?
it cant be tylenol 3 for me because i get really sick when i use that

Answers:

I just had one pulled the other day; have the dentist prescribe something for you. Tell him/her your issue with Tylenol, which is acetaminophen.

They gave me a combination of acetaminophen with some sort of narcotic. It's called hydrocodone:

It's always mixed with some sort of pain killer, though not always acetaminophen as in my case.

Honestly, I didn't even need it but took the prescription just in case. But, everyone reacts to a tooth pull differently.

I have very sensitive teeth and the Dentist can not work on

my teeth without first give me about 5 minutes gas. Then he works.

After is all done, he gave me about 10 minutes of oxygen.

If you have heart murmur, or anything, remember to tell the

dentist BEFORE he treats you and he will give you some antibiotics

one hour BEFORE he begins to work., Call the dentist, and tell

him you are allergic to Tylenol 3 ( I am too) and the dentist

will prescribe a different pain killer. Do not take any medicine that

you are told here ( even with the good intentions) because don't know if

you are allergic to many others. Just call your dentist right away.

Any narcotic or tramadol but you have to take the tramadol for a full 24 hrs before it starts to work.

Just tell your dentist that, and he/she should be able to recommend something better.

try advil
