How long do I have to wait to drink coffee post-wisdom teeth removal?!


Question: How long do I have to wait to drink coffee post-wisdom teeth removal?
It's been about 3 weeks since my wisdom teeth removal (only 1 impacted). I tried drinking hot chocolate a couple days ago and I found that I couldn't. I had waited until it was somewhat luke-warm before drinking, but in doing so it left a tingly sensation near my sockets.

maybe the socket isnt healing aswell as it should, so its just when you feel comfortable to drink hot drinks, if it continues into the 4th week then consider seeing your dentist again

Wisdom teeth are closer to the nerves than any other tooth so its common to have some tingling afterwards this should subside in its own.

warm salt water baths (salt into warm water like a mouth wash but instead of swirling it around hold it over the socket) and this will keep it clean and help it heal. Keep fingers tooth brushes etc out of the socket.
