What to do with a tooth abscess?!

Question: What to do with a tooth abscess?
I have a dentist appointment on Saturday, but I have an abscess forming, and it's quite painful and my face is swelling already.

Does anyone have any tips I can use to deal with it until then, because I'm pretty miserable.

Answers:

you need to get on an antibiotic asap see if your primary doctor can see you earlier for that. but until ur dentist appointment you can get orabase to put on the area. and take what you usually would for a headache.

You should call the dental office and ask for emergency appointment. Let them know you have a swollen gum and need immediate attention. If the dentist can't see you, find another dentist who can. You need antibiotic for your infection.

In the meantime, you can open probiotic capsule and mix the powder inside with water until it becomes a paste, apply to the gum around the neck of the tooth that is swollen. Leave it all night. It is o.k to swallow some. You can buy probiotic from any drugstores.
