Question: Can I eat like right after I get my braces off?

Hi! Im getting my braces off this month on my BIRTHDAY! I didnt plan it that way - thats just the only day my ortho had open. Soo I was curious if I can eat right after I get them off cuz i already made reservations with my whole family to a really nice resteraunt on my birthday and I will be really upset if I cant even eat there.. xP
