I'm getting four teeth out and I'm so scared, advise?!

Question: I'm getting four teeth out and I'm so scared, advise?
I have to get four teeth out in order to get braces because they are baby teeth and I am 13. What happens in the process of getting my teeth out and will it hurt? Thanks!

No it won't hurt at all because they will numb the area of your gums where there taking the teeth out from. You may feel the first needle that gos in your gum to freeze your gums. But its only a scratch. I had to have 5 teeth out all at once and the dentist told me to take 2 paracetamal about 20 mins before my appointment. Which I did and I felt no pain from the injections. But don't worry the dentist will prod about with your gums before he pulls them out to make sure there numbed proberly. When there out your gums may bleed for a couple of seconds. The dentist makes you bite down on a tissue this stops the bleeding.

I've had all my wisdom teeth out, in three separate appointments - the first was simplicity in itself, a flawless extraction... There was some swelling for a time after one, another was particularly troublesome, it chipped on the first attempt, then came out but still attached - although it was rather the healing process following a redundant piece of gum that tore down the side of the teeth in front being stitched back on (not to mention the stitching prevented me fully opening my mouth) it infected as a result and required antibiotics.

Normally the pain can be managed with usual or moderately higher strength painkillers.

The bleeding should have stopped the same day.

it doesn't hurt because you get numbed. also you usually get sedated (anesthesia) that helps you kind of go off into another world so you don't feel it. they bleed after, and the time depends on how deep the tooth was in. usually it bleeds for like an hour but you keep the gauze in the whole time so its fine. there's nothing to be afraid of!

got teeth pulled when i was about 9

i had to have this done, are you being sedated for it? it doesn't hurt and your gums won't be bleeding. your mouth will be numbed so you won't feel it and if you're bwing sedated you won't even know whats going on. you'll just have a weird numb mouth for a while. when the numbing goes you might be a bit sore but this won't be for long...

i'm having my wisdom teeth removed in the middle of april! and i'm being sedated

they wont bleed for long because you'll get stitches.
you wont feel any pain during the operation but you will be very sore after.
dnt play with your hurt gums and dnt eat hard food and you'll be fine

Yes it will hurt. They will bleed for a while maybe 1 minute.
