What can I expect after oral surgery and multiple tooth extraction?!

Question: What can I expect after oral surgery and multiple tooth extraction?
I am 34 years old and am having all of my top teeth removed and all four of my wisdom teeth. My surgeon will be stitching all holes and I am wondering what I can expect. I am scared to the point of high blood pressure. I will be having dentures placed in immediately after surgery. I will be completely sedated but am still very very frightened. Can anyone tell me if they have had this done and what I can expect. The pain does not scare me but the throwing up does. Is this common with oral surgery?

Answers:

Your just extremely nervous. Step one caaalllm down. My mom had all of her top teeth removed after a car accident and the immediately put in dentures. dont worry about the surgery it is fairly minor, the only thing is the pain after, just ask your doctor for pain killers and he has to give them to you. youll be fine :)
