I've got this problem.... Please Help!?!

Question: I've got this problem.... Please Help!?
I'm in to the year when I decide what I want to be when I grow up, I don't think I will be a Doctor as I am scared of blood and also I can't face giving people injections or cutting people up, essentially anything that will hurt the patient. I really want to be a dentist though, and what I want to know is: are there any jobs in Dentistry that won't require hurting the patient? For example I can't handle pulling teeths out and giving people injections, so does that rule me out of becoming a Dentist? :(

Please help!

Answers:

If you definitely want to be a proper dentist then I think you're going to have to face blood and injections. But think about it, you'll be going to university or a dental college to train so you'll have time to get used to it and become able to handle it. Lots of people who initially want to be doctors don't like the idea of blood or other things involved in the job but after training get used to it. If it's something that you really want to do I'm sure you can get over any fears/problems you may have to do with it. Go for it :)

everybody can't stand blood or hurt people, this is normal but when you are in medicine college, at first you will not stand anything like that but after that you got used to it and if you see it in another perspective, you will see that you don't hurt people but you treat people and save lives, that is for another type of doctors rather than dentist but in dentist see it as you make people's teeth better and make them look good and make them feel better and don't feel pain from the teeth diseases

I can't think that anything to do with dentistry won't involve blood and hurting the patient!
Even being an orthodontist will require you to study dentistry first.
What about looking what qualification you would need to work in a medical lab?

There are others jobs in Dentistry ~ you could be a Dental Assistant or a Hygenist

I think so
