do I need a filling or does my tooth just want attention?!

Question: Do I need a filling or does my tooth just want attention?
When I clench my mouth, and breath in, the back tooth in my mouth, hurts. It's not really painful, but it's quite sharp. When I put my tongue at the back of it, and breath through my mouth at the same time, the 'pain' is even more noticeable.

I'lve also just realised that this tooth hasn't been replaced yet, I don't think:L So, stilla milk tooth, does that have an affect on this 'pain', or is it simply because I need a filling?:S

Thank you

I think you should go to the dentist asap. I had pain with my last milk tooth, and then when it finally fell out it turned out to be the tooth under it that was causing the pain. And now I need a root canal. If it is a baby tooth it's best to go to the dentist and get it pulled, that way if there is a cavity, it won't progress and it can be caught. Anywho I think you might just need a little filling. Don't let it get to the point where your entire tooth starts throbbing for hours at a time, that's like the point of no return.

But tooth pain is never normal or healthy. If your tooth hurts it means something's wrong.
