What does "COB adjustment" mean? It was shown in my Dental Reimburseme!

COB is an abbreviation for Coordination of Benefits. When you have 2 insurances, the insurance companies get together to determine what each one will pay. This process is called coordination. So when you or your dentist gets a check from the secondary carrier, it will have the amount they would have paid if you only had one insurance minus the amount the primary insurance already paid.
