Braces problems? please help!?!

Everyone's treatment is different because everyone's face and bite are different. Nobody here can really answer your question effectively. It is a question for your orthodontist, who has seen and examined you. Most of the time, when orthodontists say that the shape of your face will change, they mean it will change for the better. The change is usually very subtle.

Braces will not change your face SHAPE. What they will do is shift your teeth, and that, in your case, involves moving your jaw a little back. However, the shift will not be drastic by any means and you probably wont be able to notice it. As for the gums, thats normal. Take ibuprofen and eat soft foods til they feel better!

lol it doesnt change your face shape i had braces for 3 years and got them off not to long ago you'll be fine the pain will go away and your jaw will look perfect or atleast close to perfect

You'll be fine, don't worry! My whole family has had braces and it's made them all looks so much better, just take good care to brush well so you don't get the braces "stains".
