Wisdom teeth under the bone. Should they be removed?!

Question: Wisdom teeth under the bone. Should they be removed?
I am 20 and haven't had my wisdom teeth removed. Unfortunately, I don't have any type of insurance, so having them removed is only an option if absolutely necessary. The dentist at my local health department doesn't seem to think its a big deal to have them removed. He took xrays but said the xrays don't show the top wisdom teeth, but the bottom ones are under the bone, coming in completely sideways...

Im not experiencing pain. Do you think this will become an issue.
How much does wisdom teeth extraction cost without insurance?

Thanks in advance!!

I had 3 wisdom teeth removed yesterday. Mine were not causing problems but my dentist said that they will and that I shouldn't wait anymore (I'm 28) and that they will eventually mess up my other teeth

I am 17 and am meeting with my dental surgeon tomorrow about getting my wisdom teeth out. I have all 4 right under my gums, but they don't really bother me. I wouldn't worry about the wisdom teeth in your case, seeing as they are far under the surface and can't be seen on the x-rays. If you experience a lot of pain, then you might want to consider getting them out. Otherwise, you can ask your dentist any questions you may have, and they can refer you to a dental surgeon when they feel it is necessary.

I got mine removed when i was 18. There not needied in the mouth thats why i got mine removed. U can get them out if u ask your dentist. Its 50/50. My dentist took mine out on the basic fact.. We dont use them :)
