Question: Being a dental assistant.?
in my english class we're doing a report over the career we're gonna go to college for after high school.
and i need a dental assistant to answer a few questions for me. i would really appreciate it! :)

1.what are the benefits?
2.what is your working enviormeny?
3.how stressful is the job?
4how much do you get paid ?
5.how long did it take for you to get your license?
6.what do you love about your job? what do you hate?
7. what are some of your requirements? education? skills? physical need?
8. how long did you go to school?

Answers:

1. Free cleanings and free/discounted dental care.
2. I'm assuming you mean work environment. It depends on the office. Some are all politics and the people are mean, other offices are nicer.
3. Very stressful
4. Depends, starting DA's make around min. wage.
5. There is no "dental assisting license". You can get your x-ray license, coronal polish license, pit & fissure sealant license, RDA license, and RDAEF license.
6. Love, the people. Hate the dentists.
7. I took a course at American Career College. There was no pre-requisites needed. You need to be able to lift at least 15 pounds.
8. 10 months.
