Also im about to go to sleep and was wondering what my routine should be like for tommorow. And if i should sleep with the cotton things in my mouth? Ty

Answers:

OUCH!, i got my wisdom teeth removed last year and it sucked!
you should rest, rest, rest! at least for 3-4 days.
The first day you will do nothing but bleed so keep the cotton in your mouth! because it helps with closing the wounds
You can try rinsing the blood out with water but don't shake the water inside
About eating... i forgot but I think you shuold wait 3 days... you have to wait for it to heal and close first because then the food will get stuck there and it could cause an infection.
Take the prescribed pills until they're gone, it helps with the pain! and it's also fun to be on them, you feel dizzyy and stuff:)
My mouth wasn't swollen so if you'rs is then i dont know what to do about it, it just goes away
i recomend sleeping or watching tv
don't go to school, i don't know about work... the meds will keep you dizzy
hope this helped, also just follow what your doctor told you

Why in the world didn't your doctor go over all this with you? Whenever you have surgery, nurses and doctors always tell patients what to expect, what to do when you get home, the next day, etc. You should have a syringe (without a needle) that you use to shoot salt water (just salt and very warm water combined) into the area to keep it clean from bacteria and prevent dry-socket.

If you don't know any of these things and no one has told you anything, then you need to call your doctor/surgeon and ask what to do. Call their answering service right now.

Next day should be fine.

Had a dry socket and still managed to eat. Hope you don't have one of those painful as hell.
