Do I need a root canal or pulled out?!

Question: Do I need a root canal or pulled out?
I have a baby tooth in the back. Half of it is chipped & is a cavity that's deep. My mom said that they will pull it out since it's a babytooth. Can they pull it out or will they have to do a root canal although it's a baby tooth? I have a checkup this week. Thanks! (:

Answers:

"Baby" teeth don't have roots, therefore no root canals can be perfomed. Depending upon the severity of the infection and/or cavity a decision to extract or "fill" the cavity will be made by you, the dentist and your parent.

Lots and lots of experience.

Your best bet would be to have it pulled out I had a root canal and from experience a root canal hurts like **** so have it pulled.

pulled out your adult tooth will replace
