To me it sounds like you have a dry socket!
Dry socket is really painful when you have it...
Obviously if you have spit out you may of spit out the clot too and if the clot comes out thats how dry socket occurs.. I suggest you rinse your mouth with warm salty water gently.. eat soup and that kind of thing make sure no food particals get down there! and make an appointment with your dentist and it will be fixed within 5 minutes. All they do is put some medicine in the socket or a bandage with medicne on it and as soon as it goes in the pain will go straight way!
Hope u feel beeter soon and hope this has helped you!
Good Luck!xxx

sense you cannot see the bone thats a good sign that it is clotting. You have to avoid spitting and just rinse out fluids spitting will keep it from healing and the gum can grow over an air bubble and thats more pain then you need. i doubt you have caused damage. just take pain meds and use gause it took a whole day for me to stop bleeding. but yes it sounds like a dry socket

Call the dentist or oral surgeon who removed your teeth. There is a treatment for dry socket
