what is the likelihood that my wisdom teeth will stay beneath my gums?!

Question: What is the likelihood that my wisdom teeth will stay beneath my gums?
i can feel them beneath the gums and theyve been actively moving on and off for about 3 years and havent moved any (as far as i know anyways) in a year or so though i havent seen a dentist in a while (probably the greater part of a year), i really cant afford to because im unemployed and have no dental insurance.

Answers:

One can not predict likelihood, but I can tell you I have been in this situation for decades with no problems. If however, there are any signs of problems- pain, inflamed gums, discharge, etc., you will have to somehow seek dental care. The good news seems to be though, that wisdom teeth can happily stay there as long as you live without trouble, so I say, if you are not having problems with them, don't worry at all!

FIRSTHAND EXPERIENCE.

I'm 50 and i still have a wisdom tooth that is only half errupted.
That's not the norm of course, but for me, even my other 3 wisdom teeth did
not come through until late twenties.
