Oldest trick in the book: Lick the back of your hand and then smell it. You could always ask other ppl's opinions.. but they may think ur weird. Just chew gum or suck polo's and don't worry about it :)
just try letting out a breath on someone's face. And well if they gag, then u know that ur breath stinks. If they dont seem bothered by it then u know its okay=)
Cup your hand over your mouth and breath out into your hand. Then smell it.

lick the back of your wrist palm facing up sniff it while it drys

Inflate a ballon then let it blow back into your own face
