I was 'asleep' whilst they extracted all 4 of my wisdom teeth - When I awoke they told me my jaw had broken and I had my jaw wired shut for 6 weeks - It's still a problem almost a year on - I have suffered increidbly and I still might have to have it re-broken and set due to it being 'wonky'!!

Answers:

I would really like to hear what happened to you. Was an oral surgeon removing your wisdom teeth? Did they have to fixate your jaw or wire you closed? I am a dentist and this horrible outcome has never happened to me. Cross my fingers it never does.

Wow....that is terrible Scal. One of the worst things I think I have ever heard regarding dentistry. i feel for ya.
