I love all your answers guys. I managed to have a happy full stomach last night. I had trouble choosing the best answer. But I have to hand it to aahna for the detailed answer. Thanks for all the answers. Kristine, the burger thing doesn’t work... I couldn’t get myself to chew bread this morning without it getting all over my mouth. And syed A, I sure had my favorite ice-cream last night. I pray that I heal soon too, Alaska. Its my sister's weeding on Monday and I want to be eating by then.
Papillongirl you got me with the dry socket. I thought the dry socket was something you cover the area the tooth was pulled from to keep it dry while eating.

Answers:

well you should have soft , nonspicy, cold and something of lighter consistency and which is not heavy for you to digest.you can have ice creams, soups which should not be hot.
soft foods such as mash potatoes, pasta, yogurt, and pudding. Also, avoid foods such as nuts, popcorn, rice, sesame seeds, etc. This type of small food may get lodged in the socket area. Over the next several days you can progress to solid foods at your own pace.
