What do i do with the bleeding after extractions?!

Question:

What do i do with the bleeding after extractions?

im getting 4 teeth pulled out. i think its called bicuspid.
what do i do to stop the bleeding & swelling?
does ice work well?

Answers:

HELLO,
THIS IS FOR BRACES RIGHT?
THE SWELLING SHOULD BE KEPT TO A MINIMUM USING COLD PACKS (ICE + WATER) THE FIRST 24 HOURS. ALSO, TAKING ADVIL WILL HELP FOR THE INFLAMMATION.
FOR THE BLEEDING, HAVING THE DENTAL GAUZE OVER THE SOCKET FOR A FULL 30 MINUTES W/O REMOVAL WILL STOP ANY BLEEDING.
OOZING AFTER AN EXTRACTION IS NORMAL AND MUST NOT BE CONFUSED OR BLEEDING.
PLACING A COLD, WET TEABAG WILL ALSO HELP THE OOZING.
DON'T WORRY YOU WILL BE FINE.
