Also wants to know whether doctors get any commission from Pharmacy stores on prescribing any medicines when the similar variation are already available on the shelves?

As far as doctors getting commission, no, but pharmaceutical reps provide incentives for doctors to prescribe their medication over other brands. (these incentives are very strong, like trips)
I find that Walmart is normally the cheapest....but you can call them and ask before going, they will give you the prices. Sometimes too calling the smaller hole in the wall places is even cheaper

Doctors do not get a commission from a prescription being filled. Most times they do not even though if the prescription was filled or not.
