My sleeping pattern is messed up, how do I fix it?!

Question: Lately I've been falling asleep around 9:30pm - 10:30pm and waking up in the middle of the night. It's like my mind thinks I'm taking a nap! I'll wake up in the middle of the night and won't be able to fall back asleep until 7am. Then I wake up around noon or 1pm. I hate waking up in the middle of the night, and sleeping passed noon. How do I fix my sleeping pattern?

Don't take naps in the afternoon for a couple days, just sleep at night. My Dr. told said for me to take some benedryl if i was having problems sleeping. I did for a few nights and got some good restful sleep and don't need to take the benedryl any longer. You might see if benedryl will help you sleep through the night. Or you could try the Advil PM or Tylenol PM, the dr. said that they have the same sleepy ingredient as benedryl.

If you can, try skipping one entire sleeping cycle (a nights sleep). Try to stay awake until the NEXT night. You should be SOOOOOO tired at that point, you will sleep the night through and be back to a normal cycle. I've needed to do this after a "time-zone" trip (IE: California/New York, etc)

Your body sets its clock by the time you WAKE UP. So, decide on the time you want to wake up, and stay in bed resting until that time. Then go through a normal day.

you're sleeping too much! :)

try going alseep later then youd prob sleep thro the night..

let me were you out ;)
