Bacon.

Apple sauce, and lots of it.

veggies
fruits

Chicken soup.

Maybe you should ask if he's on any kind of dietary restrictions.

jello or even banana's.

fruits and veggies and clear liquids...nothing red though because if they get sick it may look like blood and you don't want complications...

IRON

something with it.
Or just apple...

fruit

chicken noodle soup chicken thats fresh
or alaphet soup!
-good luck

pork chops, and maybe some popcorn...oh and some walnuts

fruits and vegetables, NO phony pills that wont help. Doctors and hospitals only want to TREAT people and NOT CURE THEM. If cures were permitted, they would not make BILLIONS of dollars every year TREATING but NOT curing. Pills are NOT the answer, except for the shareholders of the drug companies.

Nothing! You should buy him absolutely nothing! Let the hospital and Doctors treat him, unless your looking to get in a lot of trouble? If he gets worse and dies, you could be held responsible and that is not good! Just relax and let the Doctors and Nurses do their thing...If he is back home then he should have gotten directions from the professional regarding this, if not, call the Hospital and or Doctor that treated him and get your answer that way...do not go by any info you get from this web sight, no one knows what was wrong with your friend! Good luck and think before you act!

clear liquids

oat meal is better than others or grinded fruits

Check with the local medical staff as they may have medications and other fluids that may interfere with certain foods. Some cases it can be dangerous.

Probably just bland easy to eat food, like apple sauce, pudding. He'd probably just appreciate your company and some magazines more than food right now if he's still in the hospital. Have friends sign a get well card and just go visit; it will mean a lot more than running around trying to find food; they already have what he needs to eat at the hospital, so unless he specifically asks and the nurses say it's okay, don't bring anything really.

Hi, since your friend has intestinal bleeding, you need to seek the advice of the doctor on the kind of food he can take. You need to consult a medical expert on this issue. Thanks! Wish your friend a speedy recovery.
