No, it's a waste. Just smoke it. I've eaten it when I got pulled over once, and I didn't get high at all, just wasted some good bud.
Not being a person that has got high much, I did eat a couple buds once, and it made me lightheaded...so you know...maybe a little, but it was like eating hay and tasted like s@#t!
Yes, you will get high, but it's not like smoking it. You need to eat quite a bit, it will take longer to get high, but you will stay high longer.
You'd have to heat it up in fat (butter, peanut butter, etc)
