Yes if you swallow like 50 pills.

I would highly doubt that as sleeping pills interfere with REM sleep. In effect when the pills take effect you will not dream until the pills effect has worn off. Therefore the nightmares would be attributed to other things in the persons life.
EDIT
Malaria pills cause nightmares in many people. Possibly there has been a crossover of stories somewhere along the line there.

I have been on trazidone before and was pulled off becuase it cuazed sezuires when mixed with my other medications.

To answer your question it is very possible, Trazadone is a psychoactive compound with sedative, anxiolytic, and antidepressant properties. They claim that the anti-depresnt becomes active within the first week of treatment. With starting any anti-depresent medication (being SSRI or not) or for that fact any Psychoactive drug there can be a vast aray of side effects; nightmares and "strange dreams" are not uncommon. You should talk to your doctor about any concerns you have. I don't think it will make you "loopy"

Behaviroal side effects of it can be *uncontrollable laughter(is suppose to be rare), difficulty in concentration, Drowsiness, fatigue, lethargy, psychomotor retardation, lightheadedness, dizziness, confusion, sex drive increase.

The medication has been know to cuase a "hangover" effect when used as a sleep aid, but it should clear up after 4 to 6 days.

Hope this helped

Don't take it unless it is prescribed, find romance instead
