Are you allergic to eggs? If so thats the answer - they use egg white in the serum to fill it out a bit.
If you dont actually get sick, then youre probably over sensitive to one of the ingredients which wont harm you. Mine was quite swollen and painful this year to and my arm was quite stiff.

aaahhhchooooo

You could be slightly allergic to something in the vaccine, does it tich at all? Mine are usually okay, when I have either the flu or the pneumonia jabs.

they inocculate you with a minute dose of the flue and some people feel unwell for 48 hours afterward swelling is quite comman

I had a flu jab and never noticed a thing. Nothing at the time and nothing since, I beginning to think she missed me with the needle!

Didn't swell up but i got a virus that pet me in hospital twice,
missed Christmas and New year plus it took mooooonths
to get right.Going to see that my family don't
have to put up with that again this Christmas .

you could be allergic to the flu jab, its definately not supposed to swell. go back to the doctors tomorrow, try to get an emergency appointment and see a doctor about it.

I'm lucky ,I never had any allergies/that kinda stuff,I just get headaches and that's about it...lol... :)
