Does everyone eventually die of AIDS?!

Question: AIDS is not curable, so if they don't die of something(anything) else first then eventually their immune system will be reduced to the point where it cannot protect them any longer. At that point you can say they died because of AIDS.

The current drug treatments can extend this time frame to decades now.

So in a way the answer is yes, but in realistic terms the answer is no. Not everyone who has AIDS will die strictly because of it.

Note: HIV is not the same as AIDS, some people who have HIV never develop AIDS.

I hope this is not a real question, but if it is the direct answer is not even close. If someone told you this and they, or you believe it, you need to get alot more education on this disease. Today, with the advanced treatments available, most that do have aids will probably die from something else.

Only if you test positive for HIV.

you think you might have aids go check youre self

Not any more. With all the drugs and treatments they have developed in the last 5-10 years, patients are living their lives like the rest of us, but still have to be careful.

You must be at least 9 years old to ask a question like that.

NO, everyone does not die of ades.

I had sex with this guy once and when we were done, I asked him if he had Aids and he said no, why? And I said whew Good I didn't want to get Aids again... He was kinda pissed off. LOL, I know not a funny subject, but it was funny at the time.

you could die of aids, if you have aids, then your HIV-positive, then you will die, but it depends, because for some people they live up to 4 years and some up to 15 years, it's just how your body reacts to aids, because, though the disease is same, but we each have body system, and each body reacts differently, you could die in a week too, it just depends on your body, but if your report says negetive, then you don't have aids...

Actually, practically no one dies from AIDS. What they die from is usually pneumonia or some other common disease that their immune system can no longer stave off. With proper treatment, I think most people can now live relatively normal lives. The most famous example of this is probably Magic Johnson, who tested positive over 10 years ago.
