Question: the thing is. im 15 and have blacked out once (while concious)

i was really really scared and had myself checked out but nothing was wrong.. if you have ever callapsed.. didnt you want to find out why?
because i do.. and the doctor says im fine..
my friends say im being stupid and being a hypercondriact. (dno how to spell it lol)

but you cant make yourself callapse....

my dad said my eyes started to role back and i walked while unconcious. it lasted 5-10minutes

for around a year i get up and cant see for a few seconds but thought nothing of it..
why dont other people understand just how scary it actually was for me.... how i felt....

at 15 you dont expect to callapse and it scared me soo much.. but noone understands.

when was 13 i fainted at temple and was unconscious for about 10-15 and when i woke up i didnt know where i was i didnt even know i fainted or fell! when i opened my eyes i thought i was still standing and i didnt know why everyone was staring down at me. and i had no idea what was going on. i had to be helped up i was really scared.

and then a few months later i fainted in nathans and pretty much the same thing happened

i was like extremely scared because i thought something was wrong. and i had to go for like a million tests. but i was just fine and there was no explanation for it and that like frustrated me a little. by then i was 14.

and then this past summer i was ripsticking (wave boarding)
and i fainted while i was riding and i scratched up my entire leg and arm and sprained my hand. by then i was like really scared. and then i had to go back to take more tests and i was fine the only thing my doctor could think of was that my blood pressure was a little lower than what it should have been but other than i was fine. i was still scared.

and that happens to me when i wake up and when i stand up i get really dizzy but it goes away.

i understand exactly what you mean, it really is scary!

collapse
hypochondriac

i was 21 and i fainted in a department store not so much scarey as it was embarassing

I fainted in class once when I was around 10

I was told someone put a pencil in my eye but honestly the whole day is a bit of a blank to me! Lol maybe I blocked it out

You may need to see a neurologist that works to see if anything is going on in the brain physically. I have seizures and it is very embarrassing and scary and more.
Sometimes things like these are shorts between waves and places in the brain that can probably be treated with medication. Regular Dr. don't know these things.===

Once, years ago I was a bit under the weather but I'd booked to donate blood. I kept the appointment and as I was about to leave the buildings I passed out. When I came round there was a circle of people looking down at me. I felt alright but very embarrassed.

I did once or twice when I was younger. When I was about your age I went through a period when I would faint after coming out of the bath. I never found out why and it stopped after my teenage years. At around the same time I sleepwalked and talked a few times as well . It could have been hormonal or it could be due to low blood pressure . It would probably be better if you saw a different doctor for a second opinion.

when i was in h.s. many years ago i passed out in gym class,
a few years ago i collapsed [didn't pass out] in the middle
of a busy street at night with cars coming towards me,
talk about scary,i know what you're talking about,i've been
there believe me it's no fun. show your mother&father this
answer. my personal suggestion is get a second,3rd,or 4th
opinion if you have to but get a thorough examination.
i went thru several drs.before i found out what was wrong
now with the right medication i'm doing okay.i say
somthing had to cause your problem. in my case i've had
just about every test you can think of from catscans to
brainwave test and anything in between.you can email me
if you want at crawfish two@yahoo.com GOOD LUCK!

I have passed out twice while at work and I was taken to hospital where they gave me a thorougher check up and nothing wrong then sent me home, but I think you should get a second opinion to satisfy your self.

i fainted last yr when in Oz. was standin at the reception of the hostel i was stayin at and the next i was on a chair having fainted. had no idea what had happened. the guys called the medics but i refused. wat was horrible was when i fainted i wet meself then sat on the sofa. they had put sign on it not sit on. i know how scary it can be and not to know why. and i wld not say hypocondriact just want to feel better again

I blacked out 3 times a few weeks ago when I was really ill with a kidney infection. I went into the kitchen to get a drink of water, just felt really dizzy and the next thing I knew I was on the floor. My partner helped me up, I staggered a few steps into the living room and fell down again. He carried me upstairs and half way up the stairs he had to lay me down on the landing because I felt like I was going to faint again. It was really scary and I bruised up my hip and thigh really badly when I fell.

I think it was just because I was really unwell and maybe my blood pressure/blood sugar was low. I haven't fainted before or since although I do get really dizzy sometimes if I stand up too quickly and that scares me.
