I want to quit smoking.?!


Question: I'm going to try Chantix to stop smoking. But I was wondering if there is anyone out there who has tried it. Or if there is another way that you have tried. And would you recomend it? How long has it been since you stopped?

I smoked for 17 years and August 15- I started taking Chanitx.
Sept 18~ I QUIT!!! It's been 90 days
Haven't had one since. Don't want one.
I was really nausea the first few weeks on it and my dreams were no different. I've always been a vivid dreamer.
maybe just a little more off the wall thats all.
Definately Recommend.... You will probably get a little nausea. No vomiting though, if you really want to quit, tough it out.

    • Tried it and got really nauseous from it. Had to stop only 3 days into it. And my dreams were really weird.
    my mother took it and hasn't smoked since april
    My boyfriend took it and he had really vivid dreams. He stopped over 4 months ago and hasn't done it since.
    ok my friends dad was a REAL smoker and every time he wanted to smoke he ate a peice of gum or twizzlers he stopped in a month and hasnt been smoking for 3 years so YAY!
    use niquitin patches i did and ive been stopped for a year now !

    Good question.

    My wife and I have perscriptions for this, but havn't had them filled yet becasue we don't quite have the extra money yet. I've talked to co-workers who used it and they said it works very well, you could be off smoking in 2 weeks to a month.
    And yes I've heard from 2 others that your dreams aer really vivid and weird (I almsot can't wait to get it, if just for the weird dreams)
