Ears popping all the time?!

Question: My ears keep popping all the time. I had a bad cold in august/september. My medical insurance was messed up so I didnt go to the doctors. I finally went in a month later and they told me to take claratin and it should go away. It didnt. I went back to the doctors for my ears when I was sick a few days ago and he said my right one had an ear infection. not too bad they put me on zithromax and i asked about the popping and he said there is nothing wrong. If there is nothing wrong, why is my ears popping? Anyone had this before? What should I do?

ever since i was two months old my ears will pop every two months,, my mom will do a home remedy solution that lasted a while she will get onion juice(grated on a cheesse grater) heated on a spoon and drop a few drops on my ears,, it would heal it for a while.. this went on for about 9 years until i had my tonsil removed ever since then my ears didn't popped or neaither have i gotten an ear infection and its been about 11 years since that.

I thought I was the only one whose ears popped all the time. The only answer I can give you is one of temporary relief: Bending over (like, head to your knees) and sniffing. It sounds ridiculous but it's the only way I could ever get the popping to go away. The popping may come back later (Depending on how frequently your ears tend to pop), but when in doubt, do it again.
