Is accidentally eating soap harmful to your body?!

Question: No it is not at all harmful to the body. trust me, i am a surgeon.
Soap is a sodium salt of a long chain fatty acid. the maximum it will do is to latch on to some of the mucus of your intestine and wash it off. it might also get partially digested.

taking in strong detergents might be harmful if they are alkaline pH. but mild soaps are not a cause of concern.

I don't know . But I hope that you stopped after that first bite.

If it was accidental, it would not be a lot (right?)--generally might give you the runs for awhile, if its regular old soap. Cleansers, cleaning products etc are another matter.

Probably not.
Mums used to wash your mouth out with soap if you cursed, remember.

accidentally does not mean you ate the whole bar of soap right?
he he well i don't think it can do you any major harm *_*

A few drops shouldn't hurt. My mom made some tuna helper one time, and she had washed the spoon. She accidentally didn't wash off all the soap, and I instantly tasted it. I said, "This tastes like soap!" Anyway, it didn't harm me.
