Please explain NO CODE?!

Question: No Code, indicates the patient has on file a Do Not Resuscitate order. These orders are not cut and dry. They often have specific directives concerning the patient's treatment in case of death. IT will clearly state how to handle issues such as life support. It is important that these papers are kept on file with local medical facilities and the family physician and kept current.

What is NO Code?? cant understand you! can you edit your question and include more info??

well,.......there is no codeSeriously, I need more info for this question.

No code it the medical field means don't resuscitate the person that has passed away. Means no CPR or anything that will aid in bringing that person back for the dead..

No code generally is used to identify a patient who wishes to have no lifesaving measures in the event that they go unresponsive while in the hospital.
That means no CPR, no medications, and no life support. There are varing degrees of the DNR (do not resuscitate) status. Some allow CPR but no medications, some medications but no mechanical ventilation and so on.
