Self-esteem problem?!


Question: Sometimes im really happy with the way i look and sometimes i get like in anorexic phases.. People say im not fat and everything but that really doesnt work out for me.. I just see myself as I used to be and freak out. My whole life because its in my genes ill be in a constant battle over my weight. I get stomache aches, and headaches daily. normal people would feel sick but i am so used to it because i dont eat until after school on school days [ after 3:30 p.m ] and it sometimes gets bad because i feel like im going to throw up. but then when i eat at night, like usually ill have a glass of pop, or mountain dew or anything and ill have like something to snack on like.. crackers, or a brownie, or whatever i can find. then ill make myself a dinner like an hour later.. get mad about eating, and excersize until i hurt myself. usually its just feeling like im gunna throw up but yesterday i got so dizzy that when i started to run again i fell over.. Um, dont take offence to this okay? but if your starting to feel that way about food.. I think you should really try and get some professional help.. Before it gets worse eating disorders and worried that your too fat/skinny Is just where it started for some people.. Before you do maybe you should stand infront of the mirror each morning and each night and say what you like about yourself, and what you would'nt change. Or say some words that will give you courage.
I mean your already worried about how this is effecting you most girls/guys with an eating disorder dont even realise until it gets really bad. But you have so thats good.

get some help...but mainly you can only help yourself...

You need some psychological help if you think you are fat

Maybe you could talk to a counselor at your school. You shouldn't be spending so much time thinking about weight. Remember, you are a whole person and not just a number on a scale! Get involved in some activities that are interesting to you to take your mind off weight and food issues.

if you call that stomach fat !! and i believe that !! send me to a mental institution. or i am gone blind.

Ok i have a friend just like you. She didnt know what to do eather. And finley she after she almost died she decided to get help. So i would tell you to go and talk to someone you trust and know would understand. and tell them about what is going on and find out what they can do to help you!

you should probably see someone or get some help. that is definitely not healthy. it might feel weird at first talking to someone about the issue but it will really help and make you feel better. and i bet you are wonderful looking just the way you are :) and it never hurts to gain 5 pounds, thats pretty natural.

sounds just like you have bad habits,Talk to a doctor or food specialist,dietician to help you make a schedule and what foods you should eat and when.Write it down and stick to it---before you really have very serious problems.

you really need some special counceling. this is a self image prob that wont go away until you seek help. you really have to love yourself and there are people that can help you do that.

you look beautiful, there is nothing about your appearance that you should be worried about. just keep on believing in yourself . exercise is great but get some fresh air outside and im sure it will make you feel better. good luck :D

well you have the classic signs of anorexia. if you want help before it gets too bad walk up to your mother and tell her exactly what you told us. If you can not talk to your mom go to your doctor.
If you do not take care of it soon things will get out of control. Eventually all of your organs will shut down, you will loose your teeth and your hair will fall out. You will have to go on a special diet so that your organs can function at all. Go on to You Tube and type anorexia in to the search watch some the true videos on their you will understand why. Look at what those girls look like.
These girls are not beautiful they are deathly. Rotten teeth is not hot. Being sick all the time is not fun. Get help before you reach a stage that it is too late.

If you are not going to eat much choose something healthier. A diet of mostly sugar stuff wil give you headaches.
Try sushi or anything with rice.

Ok. If you eat breakfast and lunch, then you won't pig out in the afternoon before dinner. The reason I know is I skip lunch and it is really hungry time by dinner. I eat breakfast, but it isn't a real healthy one. Best thing to do is contact a registered dietician (sp?) and get some help in setting up an eating program.

You have to start thinking of yourself as fat. Think this idea. If you continue the way you are you shall be unhealthy. Then it won't matter whether you are fat or skinny. You shall be so sick that you will not be able to do much. You are young enjoy life and stop worrying about being fat. You have to eat three meals a day. The reason you were dizzy was because you did not eat. Eat breakfast at least because that shall give you the energy through the day.

I'm not just saying this, but your stomach looks great! i also loooooove food even though i know how terrible it is for me. it is in my genes to be a tad overweight, so i try not to be. talk to your parents bout eating healthier and illuminating junk food at your house. this way of life you are living is causing eating disorders and if you eat at night it could cause sleeping disorders. you trying to lose weight can kill you! make a schedule: work out 3 times a week for about and hour, drink plenty of water and eat veggies and fruits, and don't eat past seven at night! start to dance or something and that will get your mind of the negative! good luck.

Please help yourself. Please stop treating yourself so poorly. What you really need is self-love. Once you have self-love, you will not have all these problems.
Please shift your focus on your weight to something else, to something that you like doing. Please put energy into things that will make you happy.

Ok first of all no can really help you. You will have to want to not be sick anymore. I used to throw up after I ate anything because my moms whole family is over weight and that scared me. I didn't want to be like that. But what I came to realize is that I am going to be who I am and I don't really care what everyone else thinks. It is very hard to get pass all this but you can do it if you have the will. Try talking to a school counslor or your friends and family. But only if your ready because that is the only way it will work. One thing you should think about is if onw of these days you want to have kids and if you do then you better think long and hard about what you are doing to your body. If you don't stop before you really really hurt your self then this could affect your chances of getting pregnant and even if you do get pregnant then you have a way higher chance of your baby having one or more birth effects. You can do it keep your head up!!!
