When will you wake up to the fact that you are getting old?!

Question: i'll be 64 yo in feb.(going on 54)

Answers: i'll be 64 yo in feb.(going on 54)

NEVER!
Actually, I used to be an athlete and was slim and extremely muscular - I could do nearly anything I wanted without giving it too much though. Now, I rarely exercise, and have a baby on top of all my other responsibilities. When I try to flex my calf muscle and my reconstructed knee (h.s. sports injury) starts to hurt, I have to admit, I feel at least a LITTLE old!
Truly though, I do believe that if you take care of yourself, that age can be simply a state of mind. You should never give up doing the things that you love just because society says you're "old." Society rarely knows what it's talking about! :o)

The truly "aha" moment for me was finding gray pubes.

getting old is a state of mind... chronologial age really doesn't matter anymore because there are some "old" people doing some amazing things that you wouldn't normally expect to see "grandma" doing... so you wake up to the fact that you're getting old when you're ready to accept that as a fact and slooooooooooowwwww dooooooowwwwwwnnnn

I was messing around with a young hottie (20) and she told me that I was good for an old guy (29). Ouch.

Never! EVER!!

I will never get old. My spirit will always be young.
I think y/a is a good example of how age makes no difference. By looking at avatars you can't tell how old a person is. 60 year olds hang out with 12 year olds, and they have the best time. Age is but a number. I'll always hang out with 12 year olds. :)

You know you're' getting old when your dreams get dry and your farts get wet.

Mentally, never. Now physically is a different matter. My knees are starting to get bad, that nasty shortening of the arms syndrome has appeared, can't stay up till 3am and then jump out of bed at 7am any more. But I intend to take full advantage of advancing years!! I can flirt with younger men and not worry about them taking me seriously!! <G>

For some people it's a state of mind for me it's OWWWW that hurts, or crap my back, or I need glasses and the list goes on :)
