What's the best thing to do/eat/drink and fix my diarrhea, fever and chills,!

Question: I've been out of town and eating too much and too many different foods, and Thursday my tummy started feeling sick. I haven't thrown up, only diarrhea (actually more like brown water- ew) and the symptoms above. The only thing I ate on Friday was a part of an apple and drank some chocolate milk. I was hoping if I didn't eat much it would go away. It's saturday and my tummy still hurts. I ate some toast and jelly and immediately had to run to the bathroom again. what should I do? When will this go away?

having had food poisoning 4+ times in my life, sounds like you might have a minor case..

Activated charcoal powder mixed in water will help you . Tastes gritty but doesn't have a bad flavor (actually no flavor) and of course there's charcoal tablets and pills...

Food poisioning will go away eventually.. just make sure you're not getting WORSE... The longest mine persisted was about a week..

If your symptoms persist or if you feel that you are very sick, I recommend seeing a doctor.

Oh, I feel for you! And truly I hope you're better soon.

One thing that helps control diarrhea is staying away from anything that has sugar in it. For some reason sugar just continues to upset the system when it is doing that.

Do you have some cheese and crackers? That always helps me. Also get some Gatorade or something with electrolytes.

You definitely have some kind of bug, and it will pass. The key is not aggravating the symptoms. Keep eating bland foods only, like the toast, cheese, bland crackers, etc. Drink lots and lots of clear fluids like broth, water, sugar free juice, etc.

Are you resting? I hope so!

Blessings!
