I woke up with a huge knot in my neck?!

Question: I woke up this morning and ever since I haven't been able to move my neck hardly at all. My boyfriend gave me a massage and it feels a bit better, I took a tylenol but I'm just wondering how I should be sleeping tonight. Should I use pillows at all or just lay flat on my back? Any answers would be appreciated. Thanks in advance ?

I hope your stiff neck is better... If not, try some heat on it for 20 minutes every hour.
Get well soon..

Slept wrong.. happens.... You can have pillows just sleep on your back as long as you can...

could be something called tortacollis (not sure on spelling) if it hurts more in the morning then it probably is. ive had this before and it goes away after a while. you should see your doctor.

It sounds like you have an inflamed muscle(a knot),a good massage to losen the knot and take ibuprofen its an antiinflamitory, will reduce swelling.

maybe just slept the wrong way

good thing you werent hanging from the rafters

it.s called stiff neck. use a heating pad .

sleeping the wrong way can give this kind of stiffness in the neck muscles and is quite coman, try a little fermentation and light massage which will sooth you ....but sleeping on ypur back without pillows will help you more and this pain may take 2-3 days to completly vanish in the mean time you can try some neck exerscises too.
