It depends on why you feel bloated.
- Are you having your period (as this is a normal reaction when going through your menstral cycle)
- Have you had a bowel movement lately (pooped) in the last 3 days (or so)
- Do you eat a lot of dairy products (they can stop you up)
- Do you eat a lot of fiber (breads, fruits, whole grains) they can help you form some bulk to your stool and help you go
-Do you hold in all your farts (DONT DO THAT - YOU'LL BLOW UP!! no just kidding)
You are probably not going to die but if this problem persists then you should probably see a doctor.
Find out the source of your bloated feeling.
- If you are eating a lot of salt you could be retaining water

I think it depends on what kind of gas yer bloated with

if the gas from such an occasian is released all at once,then i believe we all may be in danger
term bloated refers to the fact your stomach..intestons are full of gas.....if enough gas was able to be stored within a given space you could rupture the lining
but you would have to be inflated externally to harm your "whole" self......take some bi-carb....anti-acid pop pop fizz fizzz.gone....
