The key to stress relief is doing anything that takes your focus off of your immediate worries. I enjoy long bubble baths, a bit of time at the computer, baking, shopping all help but...the greatest thing of all time for me to relieve stress is working out! Treadmill for 20-30 mins and weight-lifting also for 20-30 mins. Working out forces your focus on literally working your body...when you are sweating you are releasing the "happy" endorphins in the brain - which is a natural mood enhancer :-)

There are numerous things you can do to relieve stress like go for a walk, read a book, take a hot bath and make sure you get plenty of rest or sleep at night. If you exercise regularly that will help also.

I take a glass of white zinfandel and a good book into the bath. ONE glass, and I try not to drop the book. Bathroom MUST be out of bounds to anyone else. Before you go in, make sure all who need to use it have done so. Threaten physical violence to anyone who breaks this rule. If it's a youngster, like my 8 year old son, I threaten him with loss of his game system and TV privileges. (Those seem to be his stress relievers, and if I can't relieve my stress, he can't either.) lol

A facial or a massage works for me!

bubble bath with lavender and chamomille candles and inscents.

First determine the source of your stress and then change that. If bad relationship, then get out of it or change the way in which you communicate. If you don't know how, then seek help. If a bad job, get another one. If your stress source is more simple than the above, take a long soothing bath or go do what really really makes you happy.
