Its hard to say without knowing his family health history. some people can do it and never have a problem, others die young. is he over weight? is he active other than exercising.

smoking will catch up with him but again. you can't tell when or how.

the question remains is it worth the risk.

If he continues doing that every single day, he will probably be dead (from natural causes) around 35-40, but people into drugs are more likely to die earlier from violence or accidents as well.

But practically brain dead or disabled before then

Do a google search for health risks, cigarettes, weed, cocaine... etc.

I haven't got time to do such a prolongued search to find all the data you want.

The cigarettes will damage his lungs and make him highly susceptible to cancer. I don't have the statistics of what age it will catch up to him, but the price will be too high. With this, he might not pay the price till he's well over 60.

The weed, ecstacy, and several other drugs will cause brain damage so he won't understand how he's damaging himself.
The cocaine and some other drugs have the ability to speed up the body and if it speeds up the heart, he can have a heart attack before age 30... which is how one of my nephews died... by taking one of the drugs that sharpens your concentration and makes it possible for you to "do a lot of hard work in a short period of time" but it sped up his body and heart so hard that he died of a heart attack and was locked inside his home, so noone could get to him in time.

Lack of exercise and eating junk food overstresses many parts of the body and shortens the life span... possibly about 10 years or more.

This guy is in big trouble if he keeps going on like this.

In summary:

Smoking -> lung cancer and emphysema (lack of breath)

Weed/ecstasy and others -> affect mood, can lead to social problems (bankruptcy, problems with authorities, jeopardizes job), metabolic disorders, mouth, throat and lung cancer, death due to overdose on heavier drugs

Lack of exercise + junk foods -> cadriovascular diseases like atherosclerosis -> myocardial infarction/heart attack, obesity -> oestoarthritis, lack of nutrition -> malnutrition -> metabolic disorders.

Its a lucky thing that you friend hasn't experienced any diseases yet, but know this, he WILL get cancer or worse if he continues the same path.

NO ONE CAN DETERMINE IF OR WHEN LUNG CANCER WILL SET IN. BUT THE DRUGS WILL END UP MESSING IS MENTAL STATUS. AND MESS UP HIS MIND. GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FRIEND. I HOPE YOU HAVE A MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR.

He is in danger of cancer from smoking, arrest for drug use, heart attack or stroke from excess food and lack of exercise and of course, obesity.

there is no age that cancer will catch up. It is hit or miss. However, it can occur at any time.

Basically, this guy is really cruising for a bad future as far as health is concerned. In addition to the obvious he is also subject to brain damage, though that seems to have already occured from your description of activities, kidney and liver problems, diapedies, possible ulcers, reduction in sexual function.

It is Russian Roulette. He could drop dead tomorrow or live to be 80. Part of his lifespan is his genetic makeup.

As far as the smoking of cigarettes and weed, he will either end up with chronic pneumonia and bronchitis, emphysema, or lung cancer. If you smoke and quit, it takes fifteen years for the lungs and other tissues to clean out from all that damage inflicted upon them. He may start out with an inhaler or a nebulizer, but then again, it all depends on when he quits doing this to himself to really say for sure what the consequences will be.But COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease) is a total surety.

Everyone has tried or still does, partake of some sort of drug whether it is street drugs, prescription drugs, alcohol or caffeine ( they are actually drugs also). You can google the anatomy/physiology web sites and trace these ingredients through the bodily tissues and organs, cells etc. to show your friend exactly what types of serious damage he/she is doing to themselves. If they do not care, then break away from them if you do not want to be constantly worried or cannot handle thier self-destructive, selfish behaviours.

Junk food=fat adipose and heart problems, cholesterol problems, nutritional and mineral losses that are vital to the basic health needs of a human being. Even the salads at Wendy's Restaurant are bad...why?...they soak the lettuce in oil to keep it fresher longer! No exercise is usually due to beginning or chronic health issues, walking 30 minutes a day at a somewhat fast pace is the best thing your friend could do for that subject.

Cancers are unpredictable for the most part, but your friend is definately at risk for some serious problems if he/she does not stop the behaviour now.

You can always make a few little comments here and there to hint about how you feel......example:
"You are going to look great carrying around an oxygen tank where ever you go!"
"Yea, those tanks sure do attract the opposite sex huh?"

Being overweight due to eating the wrong foods, causes many diseases, along with the effects of drugs & toxins in UR or rather his body. The lack of excersize doesn't make these things any better.

Although, the problems may not be immediate: over time they will catch up with him & he will have major problems down the road.

Death happens to everyone, some sooner then others. Some people die early, some die later, but we all die sooner or later.

He isn't helping himself by what he is doing: I believe he will die before he is ready to die.

It's encouraging that you seem to want what is best for UR friend, but there isn't any help for him, unless he is willing to accept it & do something about it, to remove the various toxins that he has put into it, through various types of Detox & healthy diet & excersize.

i wish people wouldn't do this to themselves....
he could get lung cancer, throat cancer(age is not possible to say, it can happen any time to be honest
Emphysema is a disease caused by smoking, it destroys the alveoli in the lungs, making breathing difficult.
Tar will build up in his lungs, which again makes breathing difficult. he could have to wear oxygen when he is older

he can get high blood pressure(smoking and eating) and high colesterol(junk food) both can lead to heart attack and again can happen any time in his life.....

Two guys were traveling in a train and co-existed to a side by side seat. Guy-A who was 50 asked the other Guy-B (who also look 50 with thick white hair and shining eyes) that your health is remarkable and you look younger.

What is your neat age and what you do to be in this great shape? The other Guy-B said "I am 30 but smoke 2 pack of cig every day".

Your 24-year friend driving very fast with a jet-speed and may cross the guy B sooner then you think.

Advise him that health is one of God's greatest gift and our duty is to maintain it by DOING and ADOPTING good things and habits.

every cigarette takes 7 seconds of your life and weed takes 26. Add that up for how long he's been doing it. He's prone to heart disease/ failure. He needs to get up and jog so he can get the mess out of his lungs.

I agree with the answerer who said 35-40 at his rate of abuse.
I seen young guys since working in the medical field go down hill with liver cirrhosis by age 35-40
and that heavy cough leads to copd and such real bad diseases.
it goes there for sure no if's
so Im gonna say your friend wont go past 50
