What can you do about medicine that makes you have bad breath?!

Question: I was prescribed a new medicine, and I realized that it is causing me to have a nasty taste in my mouth and my husband says I have bad breath. I constantly brush my teeth and use mouthwash and chew gum, but it doesn't go away. I can't stop taking the prescription. Has anyone else had this problem with medicine, and did you find a solution?

It depends on what medicine it is. Whenever I take Lunesta, it causes me to have a terrible taste in my mouth... and bad breath. The best thing I have found is BreathRx. It is normally used for people with chronic bad breath. It works wonders for me when I take my medicine. You can buy it at any drug or grocery store. My favorite product of theres is the toothpaste and the gum. They are inexpensively priced (around $10).

Other than this product, I will normally just suck on a piece of candy when I'm in a situation where it's necessary. That seems to work quite well. I hope you the best... if you have any questions, feel free to IM/email me =)

Here's the website about the product http://www.breathrx.com/home.php
