Look in the mirror and open your mouth. If it is a deep red your infected. Your Ulla may be swollen. A salt water gargle works if you remember to do it once an hour for four hours. A good preventative measure is to gargle with a cap full of Hydrogen Peroxide and a cap full of water mixed in a glass. Gargle for 20 seconds and squeeze it through your teeth and hold for 30 seconds and then spit. Wash with clean water and spit again. This will kill all those little buggers.

Whenever I used to get strep throat I would always have a sore throat and maybe a headache before it got really bad. Last year I got it again for the first time in ages and in addition to having a really bad headache I was very nauseous and vomiting (first time that had happened that I can remember). You should probably stay home from work because it is highly contaigous and go to the doctor to get a throat swab. If it turns out you do have strep throat you can get a shot that will clear it up pretty fast and you can go back to work in a day or two.
