Question about producing tears?!

Question: I lay on my side when I sleep, which means I lay down on one side of my face. When I lay down, one or both of my eyes starts letting out a tear or two for no reason. I am not sad. Are my eyes just letting out some extra tears at night?

Yeah, that's normal. You are probably just putting pressure on your lacrimal glands that produce tears and it's causing them to produce just a little extra....certainly no cause for alarm.
